​Oil Absorbent Socks

NSI Oil Absrobent Sock is an inexpensive, easy to apply and easy to dispose of, occupying volumes in a landfill up to 20 times lower than current conventional adsorbents.

​Absorbent Socks contain the sphagnum peat moss encapsulated in contact with the crude oil that tends to float on the water's surface, which can subsequently be recovered with a large net.

On water, Absorbent Socks will surpass all other absorbents as they can float for weeks absorbing hydrocarbons and remaining hydrophobic.
